We track the individual outcomes of our mentees and the broader impact mentoring has on their organisations. Below, we’ve summarised key insights from the past decade, showcasing the transformative effects of our mentoring projects from 2013-2023.

Individual Outcomes: Mentees

  • 100% reported that mentoring provided the space and a sounding board to try out new ideas

  • 98% reported that mentoring helped leaders find new ways of working

  • 98% reported that mentoring increased self-confidence

  • 95% reported that mentoring helped leaders think more about their team as well as their role

  • 95% reported an increase in motivation

Outcomes: Mentee’s Organisations

  • 90% reported that mentoring facilitated the process of a strategic review

  • 94% reported that mentoring helped with the development of a focused plan

  • 98% reported that mentoring helped prioritise and address key challenges in the charity

  • 84% reported better working relationships with their board chair/trustees

  • 87% reported that mentoring made their charity more robust

We are committed to continually measuring and enhancing the impact of our mentoring projects. In 2025, we will be developing an impact framework to further track and evaluate the outcomes of our work. We look forward to sharing more insights as the year progresses, and we remain dedicated to helping both mentees and their charitable organisations achieve lasting success.
